Burg Laudeck

Burg Laudeck (also known as Laudegg) is located on a perpendicular slate rock face in the town of Ladis, next to Serfau. The core area of this fortification is the castle keep, which can be seen from quite a distance away. The castle has been extensively restored and is privately owned. It is open to visitors in the summer months.

Earth pyramids in Serfaus

The building material of the earth pyramids, which formed from sedimentary deposition and weathering, is moraine rubble that the glacier deposited there millennia ago. This fascinating example of natural earth surface structure is located at the western end of Serfaus, just above the valley station for the Komperdellbahn.

Museum Schloss Landeck

Schloss Landeck, located on the Via Claudia Augusta, is the landmark for the town which has the same name. The fortifications, which was constructed in the 13th century, sits majestically enthroned on a cliff face which towers above the Inn and is today home to the museum of local history and to the Schlossgalerie. It is also popular as an events and cultural hub.

Reschensee

Reschensee is a reservoir in the district of Graun. The lake is particularly well-known for its church spire, which juts out from the water. A considerable section of the towns of Graun and Reschen was flooded when the lake was dammed. One last vestige is the spire of the former parish church of St. Katharina.
