Whether you prefer a relaxed cycling tour through the sunny Ladis–Fiss–Serfaus plateau or a more challenging mountain bike tour – two wheelers can test their skills on almost every category of terrain in this unique and varied landscape. Trails are marked and secured according to the new Tyrolean guidelines for cycling trails. Should you find the trail uphill too steep - or if you prefer to take the simpler route to the top – you can always take your bike onto the cable car, allow yourself to be whisked to the top, and subsequently enjoy a relaxed ride down into the valley.    

Fiss is venue for international downhills and dual slaloms, e.g. the international Schönjoch-trophy, which is a hillclimb that contains more than 1000 m of altitude. The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis plateau also offers trails for beginners as well as for families. Gentle assents and several rest stops in comfortable guest houses and restaurants, as well as the chairlift in Fiss or Serfaus offer special mountain experiences also for the unpracticed.The ambicious and challenging mountain biker can act out with tours from 70 kms and more. At the same tame he can enjoy the precious mountain scenery of the Samnaun group and the branches of the Ötztal alps.

Special biker´s maps (Verlag Tyrolia, Gerhard Agerer) describe the whole area between Landeck and Reschenpass with 35 trails altogether. They also make orientation easier for people who are familiar with the place. There are also several signposted trails, e.g. to the Schönjoch or to the Schöngampalm, which is recommended for a rest.

The top infrastructure for mountain bikers you can find at the Scott-test-center in Serfaus. There is also a mountain bike hire at your disposal, as well as “Bike & Hike”, which is a bike tour up to Schönjoch by cable car, to Schöngampalm on foot, and back to Fiss by bike.
